You control who sees it
There is no public gallery: nobody can browse your screenshots. Only people you send a link to can open one, links can't be guessed, and you can lock any screenshot to private or delete it with a click. Every account can add two-factor authentication.
How it works

Is Gyazo 2 a free Gyazo alternative?
Yes. Gyazo 2 does the same core job (snip part of your screen and instantly get a link to share) and it is free, including image annotation, which Gyazo reserves for paid plans. Gyazo 2 is an independent project and is not affiliated with Gyazo.
How do I take a screenshot and share it as a link?
Install the Windows app, press Ctrl+Shift+C and drag over the area you want. The screenshot uploads automatically, the link is copied to your clipboard and the page opens in your browser. Paste the link into Discord, Slack, email or anywhere else.
How is this different from the Windows Snipping Tool?
The built-in Snipping Tool saves an image file that you then have to attach or upload somewhere. Gyazo 2 skips that step: every snip becomes a link straight away, with a preview that unfurls in chat apps.
Can I blur or hide sensitive information?
Yes. The built-in editor has a mosaic tool and filled boxes for hiding passwords, emails and names, plus arrows, lines, rectangles, text, a pencil, emoji and stickers. Saving gives the edited screenshot a fresh link, copies it to your clipboard and removes the unedited original, so the version with the sensitive details is gone.
Who can see my screenshots?
Only people you give the link to. There is no public gallery or feed, so nobody can browse your screenshots, and links use random IDs that cannot be guessed. Every screenshot is unlisted by default; you can also lock one to private (only you, logged in) or allow search engines to index it.
Is my account secure?
Passwords are stored only as strong one-way hashes, and every account can turn on two-factor authentication with any authenticator app, with backup codes in case you lose your phone. Sign-ups are protected against bots, and the Windows app signs in through your browser, so it never sees your password.
Can I search and organise my screenshots?
Yes, for free. Give screenshots a title and a description with #hashtags, and search them all from your gallery. The Windows app also records which program and window each screenshot came from, so you can find things without typing anything. The gallery groups screenshots by day, and you can select and delete many at once.
How much storage do I get?
Each account gets 100 MB of storage. When it fills up, your oldest screenshots are removed automatically to make room for new ones.
